That was why I chose it . . .and once I got it I kind of realized its purpose would only be for e-mail and browsing on trips, and I thought it might be good for me (i.e. educational) to "have" to work in Windows.

It also came in handy when I want to install a portable app at home to use on my work computer, for which I had no permissions.

So I never bothered . . . but yeah, the Mini 10v and the Mini 9 before it were very popular with the Hackintosh crowd.

Jami-- did you ever try setting the resolution to larger than the screen? You automatically bounce around on the bigger desktop that way. May just be a Windows thing though.

The 10V should be hackinstosh compatible...of course, that violates the TOS ;-)

I have a Dell Mini 9 and i love it. They are solid little computers! The only complaint is that with the screen so small, some sites are a little hard to use.

I'm getting ready for a change in lifestyle and am getting rid of just about everything in my apartment and starting from scratch after a project.

Nothing is particularly fancy, but if you need dishes, basic furniture or anything along those lines, let me know. I also have a TV (not flatscreen), a playstation 2 with lots of games and lots and lots of random stuff (non-bike tools...some camping gear, books, pictures, etc.)

Thanks, Joe. It took 19 hours but I did finally get an offer to trade the Mini for a Wii.

The best trade offer I received in the past was for a box of old PSP input devices and some baseball cards, so I'm kind of excited :-)
