you can borrow my trailer

thanks, but im building another trailer from some other materials.  i just need the arm and coupling.  i dont need the rest of the trailer, thats why im hoping for one that is, say, missing a wheel, or torn compartment, or busted frame.

I believe we have a busted trailer (just the frame is left over, no wheels) but the coupling and frame is intact. I have to check with my S.O. before I go and give it away, as he may want to do something with it. I saw a bike like that on CL today - http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/bik/2441500939.html but he wants $45 for it.

Oh, and I think there is a "Kratefest" going on in Sycamore- where ever that is, and you might be able to find something like the sissy bar and handlebars there.

Trailer frame is all yours- we live pretty far north just fyi, but you are free to pick it up anytime- send me pm if you want it and I'll give you the address.

Sycamore, IL is:

On Rt 64 (North Av in Chicago)

West of St. Charles

North of Dekalb

Southeast of Rockford

Melanie, i'll make it up there! thanks!!

two projects.  im building another trailer.  much like this one...

Also, i have a bmx layback seat for my cruiser, except i have it installed inverted to give me way more wayback. well, it finally collapsed, it needs to be supported with a sissy bar

Thankfully it didn't collapse until after the successful completion of Saturday's ride (ouch!)

If you don't find one for free, try Barnard's Schwinn in Oak Park, they do a lot of refurbishment on old bikes, they may have some spare parts.
