<p>I feel like it really shows that the east-west streets are ALL just ok. There is no particular east-west that is particularly "hot" - to me this shows there isn't a route on which many cyclists feel comfortable.</p>

<p>OK, now I had a weird moment. I didn't know SRAM was originally Grip Shift. My brother was an engineer at Grip Shift in the 90's for a short time. That shop was on West Hubbard or that area. Stripped down a Motobecane Super Mirage for my messenger bike there.</p>

However, the heatmap is biased towards strava users which tend to be people using power meters and doing training rides so I'd expect the roads that show up as being used the most to be a bit skewed.</p>
