Stolen Jamis Coda Sport!

Help! My bike was stolen overnight near Armitage and Sawyer on early Sunday morning. I'm sure it will appear at a Pawn Shop or Swap Meet once the U-Lock is taken off. Please be on the lookout. $150 reward. No questions. I am posting flyers, notifying bike shops, and monitoring Craigslist and Ebay. Thanks for you help!

I feel your pain and loss..... My Schwinn was stolen in broad daylight while I was home from my back deck! (see this thread: http://www.thechainlink.org/forum/topics/toro-stolen)

I appreciate it. I hope to go down to the swap this weekend. I'm not sure how quickly they try and sell the bikes. I hope that it didn't get sold in this fashion already.

Which swap were you at? I saw a Jamis Quest that was likely stolen .... and a nice Cannondale... both at the swap on south Ashland. 

Anyone go to the swap at Allstate Arena or out in Melrose Park? Anyone want to take a ride?

Did you set up a Google alert?

Also, I think people might feel more inclined to help if you would -not- offer a reward and if you would make it clear that you would not be willing to reward a bike thief or someone who buys stolen bikes.

I was at the swap o Rama on south Ashland. I'll develop a meth addiction of my own and start cooking it up in my basement if that's what it takes. I'm not going to attach a lot of stipulations to a reward but will use my own judgement. Thank you.
