The Chainlink

I was hopeful that a Kickstarter project I created would be successful, but, alas, it was not and it turns out now I won't be going to England to help Kadhim Shubber, an Iraqi born Muslim, beat my 25 year old record, set at RAGBRAI XV. Back then, in order to promote a book I wrote "The Great Tobacco War", I biked 437 miles on my tandem with a skeleton as stoker sporting a sign "US Tobacco Industry". Kadhim is using that as inspiration as he bikes the entire length of Great Britain to raise funds for his college. More details can be found at this link

We are hopeful that fellow riders and those supporting the ride on July 8 to foster Jewish Muslim relations (yes, I am Jewish) would help publicize this locally and nationally and support it if possible. You can email me at harturo312@bellsouth.net or contact Kadhim directly via his Facebook page - the Skeleton Fund. We would both be grateful for any assistance you can provide. Many many thanks!
