My favorite that I took...

The water main burst in the building I used to live in. The first floor had a small alcove for a few cars, and a bike rack. I was smart enough to keep my bike indoors, but someone else wasn't. The only other thing that was covered in ice was a car that belonged to the only neighbor I didn't like.

This occurred during the storm in February 2011.

I still biked to work down Damen.

All of the cars were snowed in.

It was a great feeling knowing that I could still commute without difficulty.

The prize is a Momentum prize pack with a hoodie (cause God knows, I'm all about the hoodies), Klean Kanteen bottle, and Seatcap saddle cover. A couple of those items are still being produced so it will be a few weeks before they can send them to me. I'm a little embarrassed that I'm more excited about the possibility that I will be a published, credited photographer in the not too distant future.
