The City of Chicago funds hundreds of summer youth employment opportunities.

This year’s plans include Greencorps Youth Program, which is an intensive six-week summer youth project-based work experience program designed to provide 600 youth with experience in two primary educational modules focusing on horticulture (careers in landscaping, urban agriculture, tree care, ecological restoration) and bikes (safety, repair, biking opportunities). I'm thrilled that the city has added cycling to its summer youth agenda!
