Come out tomorrow for a very special January Critical Mass-- our annual Polka Ride!
We'll have hot chocolate, Polkarailleurs, and fleece goodies to hand out at the start courtesy of Bike Winter and the tireless work of Willow N, and Bike WInter will be popping for pizza for those who ride all the way to the destination. Big thanks to John Greenfield for locating and arranging an alternate venue (Lincoln Lanes is being renovated.) Temps predicted in the balmy upper 20s/low 30s.

Event details here:

Please consider bringing additional goodies to hand out at the start, or on the ride to add to the warmth and cheer!
Also, as our last few January rides have not been the most cohesive, please consider helping out at the front to keep things together; Willow has printed 50 full page maps for those willing to help-- look for them at the base of the Picasso.
See you tomorrow!

Not to put a damper on a great ride. Please remember that several bikes were ripped off at last years event. Riders bring proper locks & extra locks to lock up your bike & lock it to safe secure rack. Not sure about bike parking at the new place. This is always a great ride & a fun show. Thanks to all who have put in a lot of time and effort for a great ride.

When is the estimated time of arrival?  I live in the area so I might do a solomass

Anyone know how much it costs to bowl?

The bowling alley has a wrought iron fence that is large enough for all bikes. Not sure if its one of those cheapo faux iron fences or if its the real deal but its probably a half a block long in total. I think its a real sturdy rought iron fence. I'll be by there tomorrow morning and if I can remember I'll post on if its secure enough for locking bikes.
Maries on Lawrence is pretty good. I was there a couple weeks ago and someone mentioned it was on sometype of "Check Please" type show.

Anyone got a rec for the best pizza delivery close to the bowling alley?

(Or I suppose they might make their own.... but I doubt I'll have time to call tomorrow.)

My travel plans have changed this morning so I'm not able to go by the bowling alley to scope out the fence.

I will be able to swing by there today and take a pic.
