<p>Glad I bumped this discussion. After taking a good look at my new acquisition last night, I decided to leave it as is. Some light touch ups or perhaps a waxing will prevent corrosion/rust. I'm just having it frame saved now.</p>

<p>I wouldn't consider Lo-Ko 'north' to many people. They coated my car's exhaust manifold with some heat resistant paint ten years ago that's held up very well so I can say they do good work in that area and were on time and on price.</p>
