For Sale: 2008 Miele Umbria Steel Townie/Commuter $225

I also have this on Craigslist but would rather sell it to someone on here, so I listed it for less.  Sorry, I'm away from my home computer, so I have to send you to CL for pictures.  If you're in the market for a nice townie/commuter bike, take a good look at this one. You can hop right on and start riding safely immediately! Bike is being sold by original owner to make room for...more bikes. It is a nice steel bike with plastic fenders and Shimano Deore front brakes added after-market. You could easily add a rear rack using the separate eyelet for even easier commuting or errand-running. It has approximately 1,000 city miles on it. The frame has a few marks and scrapes on it, but no dents. I looked it over before listing it and made sure it still had all gears and properly working brakes. The nice part about the step-through is that it will fit virtually anybody. For those who must know, it is 15" from the middle of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. Here are the original specs listed from the manufacturer's website. Please email me bkennedy110@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to set-up an appointment. Cash only. Thank you for looking!

I remember Miele as a brand sold in German department and sporting good stores.

How did it make its way over here?

Honestly I think you have that bike priced way too high.  If you can sell it, more power to you, but I would expect to see something like that around the $75-$100 range.

Must be why it is priced so high.

I don't agree that it's priced too high.
