They tore off the surface layer on Kingsbury between Grand and Ohio St over a week ago, and it remains unpaved. Watching the cars weave around the sewer covers is liking watching cars pull out of a Grateful Dead concert.

They did that on Kingsbury St between Larrabee and Oak St a few months back. The street remained unpaved for over a week.

I completely understand the need to resurface streets, but the job should be done in a day or two. I have no idea why they strip off the top layer, and then leave. Indefinitely.
