Good plan. 80-90 miles a day is really agressive for a long tour. You'll want to take some more time to enjoy it. You might want to do one day like that: like getting the hell out of Chicago :-) But make sure you have time to settle in to the campsites, take it slow on rainy days, etc., and even have some time for that side trip to something that's really interesting.<br />

Okay, I am trying to improvise the plan. I guess I should basically just enjoy the ride with the destination being secondary. However, I feel like I have to have a theme to the ride. i.e. Bars Across America.<br />

When are you planning on leaving? I'm looking at doing a tour this summer and would love to join if the timing is right. Personally I think the trip is doable in 2 weeks, especially if you take a rest day or two which I think is necessary at least once a week. I've done some touring before and have a touring bike w/ trailer and camp gear and time, just need a destination and preferably some company. Let me know what you think<br />
