Only worn twice, practically like-new condition...L/XLtag:thechainlink.org,2012-04-08:2211490:Topic:5320412012-04-08T22:41:42.285ZAnne Kimhttps://thechainlink.org/profile/AnneKim

...only major change to it is the reflective logo in the corner has been darkened with permanent marker! This has a foam-like padding, not gel.

It's an XL, although if you are a L with a little more cushion in the back, it should work. Clearly you can try it on before you buy, assuming you're in/around Chicago.

I live in Skokie and am often in Albany Park, if you'd like to try them out.

Asking for $20 (since the condition is AWEsome)!

Here's some more info I snagged off the REI page:

A fun alternative to traditional bike shorts! This skort conceals technical bike shorts underneath a flattering skirt.

Stretch skirt has deep side slits for a full range of motion in a wrap-around design

Moisture-wicking, quick-drying shorts use four-way stretch fabric and eight-panel construction to support hard-working muscles

Sport chamois features a microfiber covering that wicks moisture away and smooth, sonic-welded seams to reduce friction

Women-specific, precurved chamois conforms to your body's contours using a multidimensional, high-density open-cell foam for comfort in the saddle

Ultrasoft, breathable chamois is fully elasticized for added flex and stretch

Yoga-inspired waistband features crossover stretch fabric in front for superior comfort while in an aerodynamic position on the bike

Elastic grippers at leg hems keep shorts from riding up

Yakkay helmet looks great, feels ... ehtag:thechainlink.org,2011-11-28:2211490:Topic:4868072011-11-28T15:47:08.363ZIronika Leighhttps://thechainlink.org/profile/IronikaLeigh
For my birthday, I got the Yakkay helmet I've been stalking for three months. It's adorable.

It also doesn't feel very good on. There's just about no padding in it. Which might be understating it. So it doesn't really hurt to wear, but it's not at all comfortable. And I'm wondering how much impact it will absorb if I fall. It's just hard as a rock inside.

Two questions:
1. Did I by some chance get a defective helmet?
2. What kind of padding can I put in the helmet to make it more…

The helmet seems amazingly cheaply made for such a pricey helmet - though obviously the covers are the thing. I'm going to write to the company and I'm going to see if the covers fit a Bell or something.
Ideas? Thanks!
