We are truly lucky to have Streetsblog in Chicago because they really understand Chicago's cycling-related issues and do a great job of reporting what is so important to the cycling community.

From Streetsblog Chicago,

"First, let’s get one thing straight. Despite what was stated today in the Chicago Department of Transportation’s press release, and local news reports based on it, the city has not achieved Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s goal of installing 100 miles of protected bike lanes in four years."

Since the initiative began four years ago, have you seen PBL or buffered bike lanes or improvements on your regular routes?
Bike-Friendly Housing Co-op Unit for sale, asking $4900 buy-in, $1001/motag:thechainlink.org,2013-02-08:2211490:Topic:6451152013-02-08T23:08:47.278ZSarah Kaplanhttps://thechainlink.org/profile/SarahKaplan

The HUB Housing Co-op was started in 2005 by a bunch of Chicago cyclists. We're a fun, yet responsible group. Sam and I are finally leaving the co-op, and our sweet studio unit is for sale. I say "sweet" because it has a cork floor, giant soaking tub, and skylights. The co-op is a great way to own property cooperatively (so your responsibility is less), and to live with friends. And it's right on the boulevard, which now has a protected bike lane.
