Description

A tradition is something you do for reasons long forgotten. Who knows how The Bagel Ride began? Who cares? It's a tradition, so just get out of bed, put on that new sweater your mother gave you for Christmas/Chanukah/Kwanzaa, drink some hot chocolate and join some of the CCC's hardiest riders as we get in one last ride in 2008. As usual, The Bagel Ride will be a short, slow ride that is dependent on weather conditions. The ride will end at The Bagel Restaurant in Lakeview for a Jewish delicatessen brunch. Neither snow nor sleet will stop us from our bagels, but the ride might be shortened under those conditions. 12 miles, 10-12 mph.

But I remember when we passed the Spertus on Michigan, there was a long line of peeps waiting to get in. I think its free that day and I never go there, so that may conflict with the Bagel Ride this year... Yay for being Jewish on Christmas in Chicago.
