Description

he Friends of the Green Bay Trail is a 10 year old non-profit organization that sees themselves as environmental stewards. Their mission is to promote the Green Bay Trail as a healthy natural corridor for the well-being of individuals and surrounding communities and they believe in creating, restoring and protecting the health of the natural habitat, the importance of connecting individuals and communities with nature, and in developing partnerships. Betsy Leibson, a member of the group’s board of trustees and trail volunteer, will share information about trail initiatives, programs and current opportunities to get involved.  Meeting is free of charge and all are welcome.
