A little bike celebrity in Chicago for Active Trans anniversary

John Greenfield and I were able to attend the Active Transportation Alliance's 25th anniversary dinner at IIT two Thursdays ago thanks to two generous Chicagoans. 

My favorite part of the dinner was hearing Mia Birk speak. (John is currently transcribing her speech now.)

• Gabe Klein, of course
• Randy Neufeld, ActiveTrans's first paid staff member (who had to find his own wage!)
• Sam Schwartz, who coined the term gridlock
