Description

The Tour de Cure Event Day is Like No Other!

Tour de Cure is our premier cycling event and you'll have the choice to ride in person or from home in 2022. Participating in the Tour de Cure is an experience you will never forget. The event is well organized and has routes available for all ages and abilities.

In addition to day of event, we will launch the Wellness Village Series within our event. We will provide wellness tips, information, and resources to the diabetic community.

It Starts With You!

When you register for the Tour de Cure, you become a part of the American Diabetes Association’s largest fundraising event. Joining you will be thousands of participants from around the country who come together to directly impact the lives of people facing the daily challenges of diabetes and their loved ones.

When you register:

You’re raising awareness in your community about diabetes
You’re supporting life-saving research
You’re helping people who are discriminated against because they have diabetes
Fundraising is easy with your personal fundraising center. You will have your own fundraising page, email center, mobile app, and more. The Association staff is there to help you every step of the way!

The Chicagoland Tour de Cure team are thrilled to share our official Chairperson for the 2022 Chicagoland Tour de Cure, Dr. Kimberley Darey! Dr. Darey is the Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Elmhurst Hospital. Dr. Darey, board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN), has been on the medical staff at Elmhurst Hospital since 2010. In her previous role as Medical Director of the Family Birthing Center, she led physicians, nurses and other staff in the development and implementation of evidence-based best practices on the obstetrics unit and has been involved as a leader in ensuring quality practices in the OB-GYN department. Dr. Darey earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and completed her OB-GYN residency at Saint Joseph Hospital Chicago. Thank you, Dr. Kimberley Darey and Edward Elmhurst Health for your support!
