Yakkay helmet help!

I bought a great Yakkay helmet that I love (second hand) but the size adjustment piece in the back have come loose - they are no longer in the housing. I have it apart, but can't for the life of me figure out how to put it back together so that they thing tightens. Anyone know how to reassemble it?
