The Chainlink

I'm looking to know more names for common types and variations of handlebar designs. I'm regularly stumped when the occasion arises, and basic Google searches find some nice charts, and pinterest action, but also diverse naming variations.

So figured it might be a discussionworthy topic that could build a thread with examples.  Then maybe I'll find the concise name for my favorite type (straight but with a slight bevel so the ends are just an inch or so higher than the center).

Sounds like you're a fan of "risers" or "straight riser" handlebars.

From the top down: vintage British GB Allrounder; Dimension Arc Bar; Traditional steel North Road; Civia Aldrich; Velo Orange Porteur; Nitto Porteur; Nitto Promenade

I like this loop bar and think about buying one from time to time.

I'm interested in switching over to "bullhorn/pursuit/cowhorn" style handlebars on one of my bikes for this cycling season.

Carver MiTi handlebars on my Pugsley. I was surprised. The titanium has a bit of flex to it. I've also got Helios drop bars on my LHT(not pictured).
