By far, there are excellent places to brunch on Central Street in Evanston.

Any in particular?

Peckish Pig on Howard is really good.

So I've heard.

Central Street is Prairie Joe's and Symphony's, but you can take your pick from a other places within a few blocks.  The neighborhood is stunning as well.  I would strongly recommend a visit to Linz & Vail because their gelato is delicious.

Smylie Brothers' food is pretty good, even if their beer isn't.

Agreed.

Inspiration Kitchen in Garfield Park! Food is delicious, there's never a wait, there are plenty of bike lanes nearby and the Garfield Park Conservatory is right around the corner!

Nana's in Bridgeport!
Tweet! (Big Chicks) in Edgewater

Some say on Sunday evening, they have free food here! Never been here that late, though.

Also good for daily late afternoon or early dinner stop.

+1 on Nana

Whisk in Ukrainian Village!
