Swap Presta tubes? Have 32mm, need 48

I bought some spare tubes last August when I got my Cannondale, but I cannot seem to make the 32mm ones work - my rims are slightly too deep for them, and my floor pump can't grip enough of it. I've swapped my current ones out for 48mm, but I still have 2 spares. Anyone have 48mm ones and want to trade?

I am pretty sure I have a couple of longer valve tubes. Are yours 700 X 23 ?  Mine may be 60 mm (would that be ok ?).   let me know; then we can arrange a swap time/place

You can also get a valve extender for 5 bucks that will help you out now and in a situation where a longer stem is not available, there are two types available so make sure you see if your valve core is removable or not.

700 x 20/28 on the Specialized box. 60mm would be okay on my end.

I'm in Lincoln Park by day, Logan Square by night. Is that anywhere near you?

Thanks! I had a presta to schrader adapter I was using in the meantime, but it was obnoxious to remember to carry it with me. An extender would've been a much better solution.

downtown by day and lincoln square by night. what time do you leave lincoln park ? I could pass that way on my way home ?  I will look for the tubes tonight !

Blast - I don't have them with me today, and I'm even heading downtown!

I'm generally here until 5pm. I could meet you tomorrow shortly after 5. Do you come up the LFP or streets?

streets. if it snows tomorrow I may wimp out. but I will be on the brown line then; let's see. but I need to find them tonight first !
