Desplaines River trail

Anyone interested in riding mountain bikes up the Desplaines River trail.  I haven't done this trail and would like to check it out.

It's fun. You might want to wait till it dries out or freezes over. Could be really muddy when it's thawed out and snow covered.

I have to agree with the freeze over or dries out.

It's a floodplain, and even in the driest conditions, it can be damp.

Anybody know the condition of the trail between Dempster and Lake Cook?

Hi John.  I don't know the condition of the trail but if it is anything like the Waterfall Glen trail it is not ready for riding.  This weekend a friend tried to do the Waterfall Glen trail and it was impossible even with a fat bike.
