Cold ride this morning, but I warmed up quickly. The sun helped a lot, as did the lack of wind. Looking forward to temps in the 20's for the rest of the week!

Got back on the saddle today after sitting out on the two cold days and it felt great. LFT was totally clear and really appreciated the lack of any noticeable wind. Did not feel that cold at all.

Woo hoo!

Warmer today.  Certain messy/icey sections on Clark (Uptown to Evanston) were clean this morning.  Couldn't sense any wind so that was nice.  I still wore my ski goggles to keep the old eye-balls warm.  but I downgraded to gloves, don't need the mittens at this warm temp.  Only counted TWO cyclists, maybe three at most.  Cars seemed happy.

Nice temps on the way in today. I actually overheated a bit (not heatstroke or anything...). Definitely will peel off a layer or two on the way home. Also had a decent headwind heading south. Got a fair amount of exercise this morning.

Nice ride today, too bad it'll be months before Milwaukee is 2 lanes again N of Addison, the sidewalk is 3" of  icy/snow, like 1/2 mile of singletrack - pretty fun.  Getting stuck in the freight elevator w/ my bike for 20 minutes was no fun, but I was so calm from the ride I didn't care.  I was surprised to see zero bikers going SB into the city, I must of been lucky.

It's funny when we consider 10°F a warm temperature. Shows how crappy this winter has been.

Ive heard it said, "context determines meaning", or it only "warm" in comparison to zero and below.

(How do you get the little zero "degree" sign when typing the temp in degrees Fahrenheit, I don't have that on my keyboard.  Ive seen other people type it. maybe smart phone.)

Depends on your platform, but one surefire way to get it is to copy and paste it from someplace else: °°°°°°°° ;-)

Nice pic!

Makes me wish I had ridden today. I am however in a slump.

On a Mac, it's alt+shift+8.

A holiday for me--Lincoln's Birthday--but I rode to meet a friend for lunch.  It had been almost ten days and it sure felt good to get back on the bike.
