The Chainlink

In 1939, Tommy Godwin rode 75,065 miles (more than 200 miles a day for 365 days) and then kept going until he hit 100,000 miles. Can anyone here even contemplate doing something like this? I cannot.

it's an awesome challenge. Who's gonna do it/done it?  Scott McIntosh? Have you done it?  RAAM is 3K in 12 days.

Here is the Twitter recreation: https://twitter.com/yearrecord

Very cool, reminds me of https://twitter.com/RealTimeWWII

Damn.

No slouch either,  Walter Greaves was an earlier record holder (45,383 miles in 1936). He did it with one arm and very little sponsorship help.
