Good bike route to Crown Point, IN?

Hey guys, just wanted to see if anyone had any good routes to Crown Point, IN from around Lincoln Park. I know there is a pretty good bike path that picks up in IN shortly after the border that will take you the rest of the way, but I have no clue which roads I should take to get there.

Last year a group of us rode from downtown to Crown Point. Our route is here:

At daytime? Absolutely. I've done it more than once.

Couple of notes:

-Not sure what the status of South Shore Dr is. Earlier this year, it was torn up for water main replacement, and in horrible shape.

- The bridge at South Ewing Ave is out. Just bike a little further south and cross the channel at E 95th.

- I prefer to ride through Calumet Park instead of S. Ewing Ave.

- In Highland, IN, further improvements have been made to the trail. You no longer have to ride on Indianapolis Blvd
