I'm back, this time to sell the bike case I was asking for here a month ago. It's an awesome case but will incur an oversize fee on most (not all) airlines, something the seller failed to mention. Seeing as I can't seem to contact the guy, I'm selling it here for nothing.

First $60 cash gets the box with brand new straps just purchased from Home Depot. Cash and carry, and after hauling this thing on the El from Logan Square to Little Village, I can tell you if you're car-less, you'll be fine. :)

It's cheap because - my roommate doesn't consider it an appealing addition to our living room, I won't be traveling anytime soon, one wheel is missing (but is on the handle side, not necessary for rolling) and I'm buying another bike tomorrow and need the cash.

It's basically an older version of this - http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1102803_-1...

I'm at work, but will update with pictures of my road bike mounted on the included rack and the case itself, as well as measurements. It's a really nice setup that will definitely put paranoid bike owners at ease - rack supports fork and holds both wheels, and there's definitely room for gear in there, too. Foam lined, hard shell case. Good for trains, planes and moving about minus the fear of a broken/bent bicycle.

Please message me if you're interested! Thanks!

I should clarify - Southwest flies bikes free if they're under a certain size. This case was too big and would've landed me a fee to fly.

Sold!
