Great use of space- two thumbs up.
So far only locked with a ulock on wheels but he is installing a metal bar through the middle for locks.
The rope is bungy to secure on windy day Julie.

I simply meant that I admired the repurposing of that tight-squeeze space for use as a bike rack.
All other tenants, of course, should have easily accessible parking available to them as well.
You can use those bathroom "disability bars" to create more lift-friendly racks. I did this in my own Lincoln Square apartment building with two bars mounted vertically on either side of a post supporting the back balconies. Just don't include the toilet :) You can use lad pipe and elbow joint as well. I got the idea from the front of The Handlebar!
