A Bell for a Buck

I just bought a lot of 25 bells on eBay.  They might be crap, but if so, they will be cute crap.  I thought it would be a nice way to drag myself and some of the other Chainlinkers out of the woodwork.  I paid $20 for the lot.  I'll sell them for a buck apiece (huge profit there!).  The only catch is that we need to connect in person, somewhere in or near the Loop.  I'm not going to mail them, and have no idea where the next ChainLink get-together might be where I could reasonably expect to show up (hint: I've not been to one yet...)

I'll update this thread once they have arrived.  Then we can figure out how to exchange bells and bucks. (Maybe meet some lunchtime at an intersection by the Dearborn PBL?

I tend to keep reasonably early hours.  I'm generally in the office around 7:30 and gone by 4:00/4:30.  Just when you're headed in whichever direction makes more sense for you.  Lunch is fine too.

How about doing the Picasso again at noon on Monday, if Deet is cool with the place/time as well?  I'll take 3 in total off your hands.

Having heard no other suggestions, I will be at the Picasso at noon today and will hang around to sell bells and talk bikes until about 12:20.  I rode my Xtracycle today, so will wander over with it.  I should be nice and visible as a result. :-)

I already have my bells from Skip, but there is a free yoga class down there at noon.  Not going to participate, but I hope to watch to get some information.  Maybe I will see you to say hi.

Great bell, I love the sound.  Just make sure you tighten it up good, the screw could easily back out.
