With the GLR 200km kicking off this weekend, I was wondering what other people pack for tools for various distances. This is what I've got for the 200km this weekend:

Tools:

Alan wrenches

8mm & 10mm wrench

mini-pump

patch kit

extra tube

2 tire levers

small amount of duct tape

2-3 feet of nylon cord

What are you packing?

For all rides:

-Multi-tool (I'm using something Park, includes chain tool)

-tire levers

-patch kit

-spare tube

-a piece of a spoke with a nipple on one end and the other end filed to a point - good for picking things out of tires, etc.

-zip ties

-something for a tire boot

- a pair or two of nitrile gloves, if I remember to replace them each time I use them

(all in a burrito wrap)

-phone

For longer rides, add:

-small shop rag

-saddle cover (if chance of rain)

-fluids as needed

-emergency anti-bonking food (a Kind bar or something like that), more food as needed

-Chi/IL bicycle map, if I'm going somewhere new or may need to figure out an alternate route somewhere I'm unfamiliar with

-extra layers, as required by weather

-extra gloves, ditto (cold hands!)

-glasses (if it's daytime and sunnyish I'm wearing prescription sunglasses, so regular glasses if it's going to be dark.)

-camera (just because)

No brevets yet for me, but first one soon! I hope everyone riding today has a good ride.
