I stumbled upon this county-by-county Illinois bike map published by IDOT just now:

Almost as interesting as the maps themselves, if you scroll down to the bottom there's a link to an alphabetical list of bike trails throughout the state.

I'm usually the last person to know about such things, but since I hadn't seen it before, I thought someone else might not be aware of it yet.

I used these to map a 100 mile gravel ride in west central IL.  Now if I could find the time to ride the route...   Thanks

Wow cool! What kind of bike do you plan to use for that ride? Tires? PSI? I'm not sure if I'm envious or what. :)
