The Chainlink

1989 Fuji 'Roubaix GPX,' near top of the line bike for Fuji at the time. Fuji proprietary 'Si45' steel, their top lightweight grade, equivalent to Tange/Champion 1.  60cm CtC seatpost, so good for a 6' + person...which is definitely not me.  Bike has horizontal dropouts (originally had DO adjusters) and is spaced for 700c wheels.  Cool 'spatter' paint job.

I thought to rebuild this bike as a project but want to STOP working on bikes that are not for me. Please help me! (The first step is admitting you have a problem, right?)   :- \

It comes with original cup and cone BB and headset, both of them needing overhaul, of course.  Paint is a bit rough, with scrapes on the stays and fork, scratches, some little spots of superficial rust, but the insides look very clean and there are NO dings or damage.   The seatpost was frozen so I cut it out, very carefully, the only giveaway being paint chipped away at the top of the seattube.

I have a few of the original Suntour GPX parts, the shifters and derailleurs, plus some other odds and ends, which I could package with the bike at an attractive price. ;- )

$100 for frame/fork with headset and BB.   Thanks for looking!

SOLD to a cool Chainlinker.  I think in the future I'll just list here rather than CL.  Or better yet I won't sell project bikes at all!  But this was clearly a case of the right bike for the right person, and that is kind of satisfying all by itself.
