So...just spoke with Liz a 3 Floyds. I have heard that bike parking is non existent at the grounds, especially during the festival. 5 - 8 thousand expected in attendance. I asked if there could be some kind of accommodation made in bike parking. I suggested temp barricades, but doesnt sound like that is going to happen. She will speak to the crew there, see what can be done, mentioned that she would like to move the grain truck and set us up at the loading dock. i dont know what any of that means since i have never been there, but she will email me pictures. We should start considering a "plan b" for parking.

Oh, and she is mailing golden tickets TODAY!!
the ride there sounds fun but the ride back is questionable...
and i must admit...ive been thinking about that too. does metra run out that way...worst case scenario?

so i looked it up and the nearest metra stop to three floyds is the hazel crest stop which is aboout 11 miles away.

im pretty drunk at the moment...but i think or thoguth ther was a south shore train stop in hammond...just a short trip north...im riding both ways...i may get lost on the way back. no worries...
Coming back from this year's Three Floyds ride, a lot of us biked to Flossmoor and hopped the Metra home from there. Flossmoor is pretty much 10 miles straight west of Three Floyds.
