Great to be back on the bike after a week out due to chest cold!

Streets were mostly clear.  Look out for ice near intersections where cars may have splashed out standing water and iced it over.  Also, coming across Clark bridge, the plates seemed to have a gloss on them so I just coasted and held my breath . . . no wipe-out.

Be careful and you should be fine.

Winter has returned. It was cold this morning, but some beautiful sunshine as well

As far as ice goes, it appears limited to surfaces that were exposed air. Think bridges, decks, fences, etc. I didn't see any ice on the streets really.

That's amazing.  What type of business is it?

Yep, I have to say that we have it made.

More than half of our folks ride to work most days.  It wouldn't happen unless the owners fully supported two-wheeled commuters.

But until other places figure it out, we all do what we have to do...  Cheers.

There is a section of the southbound Dearborn lane that is a huge frozen puddle - in the block of the Federal Plaza. It extends into the northbound land for a length of 20 feet or so. Be careful!

Yes I rode today, it was very nice.

i rode today slipped on ice when dump truck with trailer decided to cut right in front of me i had to get my swerve on to not get squished between him and parked car slipped on ice and fell tore pants at knee scrapped my knee but most of all got a scratch on my new bike my poor poor Harley Quinn.

Ouch - sorry to hear about that - but I'm glad to hear that the worst thing was a scratched bike.

Streets/bridges were in better shape this morning than yesterday.  Hoping for no more freezing rain; that's my least favorite winter biking situation.

Seemed a little warmer too.
