Crafty friends: Hancock Fabrics at 6101 N. Broadway is going out of business. Everything in the store must be gone by January 31. Hours: Mon-Sat 9:30-8 and Sun 12-5.

Fleece was 80% off Friday and Saturday. I was on a Bike Winter errand Friday night so I didn't check out the other deals.

I was able to get 116.54 yards of fleece for $254.24. (The receipt said, "You saved $931.65") This fleece is reserved for Bike Winter events since they provided the funds for it.

It was fun talking up Bike Winter with employees. One of the employees said the rubber ducky fleece would make kids say, "Let's go ride our bikes! I want to wear my hat!" Awesome, right?! (I didn't tell her that it's usually grown men who get super-excited about the kitties/duckies/other "child" patterns.)
