All I want for Christmas this week (Love those someecards)

Just to get your attention....

Now go buy those bike parts at your local bike shops!  And if you would like a chance to win an Opus Classico Bike courtesy of Roll Chicago, an Abus Bordo Folding Bike, a pair of Axoim Panniers and possibly more, do your shopping at any 1 of 7 shops this week.  These 7 LBSs (Local Bike Shops) all contributed to our tune-up campaign.  

For every $10 you spend you'll receive 1 raffle ticket.  We will call the raffle over drinks and food at Pecking Order at 4416 N. Clark on Saturday, Dec. 22 at 4 PM.  YUMMY!!!  Ultra-distance rider Scott McIntosh is wiping together some mad "Chainlink only" cocktails from 1 to 4 pm.  The restaurant is contributing a portion of the day's proceeds to our campaign too!  You do not need to be present to win the raffle.  Find additional details here.

aaah I totally just spent a bunch of money yesterday at the bike lane but didn't get any raffle tickets. Should I have asked about them?

I spent a little at Rapid Transit North on Sunday.  (Please don't tell my husband!)

Julie, what they are giving us are not actual raffle tickets, right?  The card says how much I spent and that I will exchange that for raffle tickets.

See you for at least a little while on Saturday.

Yes exactly.  Instead of making bike shop employees count out raffle tickets, we gave them all coupons and they write in the amount you spent and you bring the coupon with you on Saturday  - so if you spent $40 you will get 4 raffle tickets on Saturday at Pecking Order, 4416 N. Clark.

And if you can't make it Saturday, you can take a picture of your coupon and email it opusgiveaway@thechainlink.org and include if you want all the raffle tickets to go to the Opus bike, the Abus Folding Lock or the set of Axoim Panniers.

yes! You need to mention it at the time of purchase, but if you bring your receipt and its within the dates of 12/14-12/22 we will honor it.
