And I think you can post to the stolen bike reg and add the serial number when you find it.
There's a guy who lives near Swap-O-Rama who has an unusual ability to remember bikes and has tipped off a lot of victims that their bike is there after checking http://stolenbike.org . I'm saddened at the thought that he may see your bike there today, look for a listing, not find one, and not give it another thought.

Maybe this isn't getting across-- we can add serial number or any info later.
I think people are trying to tell you to PUT THE BIKE ON THE REGISTRY AND ADD THE SERIAL NUMBER LATER.
People may spot your bike without that and aid the recovery; get the info about it out there sooner rather than later.
I don't know how else anyone could read what people are saying. I'm just sayin'...
