I figured that I would start a thread to see if we could get some sort of chainlink group to ride together. My plan is to ride at a fairly casual pace and enjoy myself, so I'm looking for others to do the same. And, as many people know, the ride is much more enjoyable and goes by faster when you're in good company. I know I already asked James, but who else would be down for this? And, what time would you all plan on meeting?

I'm excited for the return leg, as it'll be new to me. The first half is almost exactly what we used for the Zoo ride; we're in for some amazingly beautiful riding as we cross into WI and into Kenosha.
I'm planning on showing up at 9:00am to start the Half-Century if anyone wants a riding buddy.
Latest forecast summary here, the good part:
Sunny, with a high near 60.
the half good half bad part:
West northwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
I'd rather it rained than be windy. But it could be worse -it could be both windy AND rainy. But regardless, we shall persevere.

There will be no rain for sure. High pressure to the west of us. The isobars are spreading out. The wind is slowly diminishing. At 6:00 should be WNW less than 10. Hoping to be coming back when it starts to pick up a bit.
The glass is indeed half-full!
hello. see you tomorrow, but probably when you get back. I will be at the end with the chainlink table.

I am going to do the full 100, starting at about 7:30, so if you see a fat guy in Half Acre kit, say hello
