I'm in the market for a new commuter bike as I am not for sure how long my current single speed road bike will last (there is some serious frame damage, ask if you want more info). I am currently looking at a couple of Biria Bicycles; the City Bike Series and the Single Speed/Fixed Series. I was trying to find some reviews online but was comming up short. Does anyone here have experience or opinions wth regards to these bikes? The other delimea that I am facing is which one to get. I like the City Series Bike because it comes with fenders, gears and, front and back racks. I'm not quite sold on the upright riding (I have had road style bikes for the last 6 years or so). I like the Single Speed because it is really simple, light, smaller, and seems easy to maintain. Also I have been riding single speed bikes for a while and like the feel. However I don't like how low the handlebars are (I could raise them I guess) I can get the City Bike Series for $50 more than the Single Speed. I ride year round mostly commuting to work (10 Miles Round trip) with some recreational riding and errand runs mixed in (I try to make every Critical mass). Im just looking for some opinions before I buy. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I would rather do something like you're saying as well but I needed a good bike quick and I should finish my other project bike before I start another one. I ended up going with the City Bike style and the guy at easy rider threw in a helmet for my wife (since she was there yesterday looking with me). Tomorrow will be my first commute with it and Ill say what I think tomorrow.
Yup thats the one. In olive though. Luckily my messenger bag has some D rings on it so I use small carabiners to attach it on top of the back rack. Its working pretty well now. Still kind of weird riding more upright but I am liking it more and more.
