Anyone going to the Monday night training ride held by CCC tonight?

Anyone been and want to offer me words of wisdom to break of me of this intimidation factor I have?

Dagnabbit! Conflict of cool things I want to do. Turns out tonight will not be my first training ride. I ended up landing a gig to work at a local music fest and the first organizing meeting is tonight. I'll have to wait until next week to join you, which may be better anyway as I've only had the bike I'll be riding for less than a week. Now I'll have more time to practice and get more comfortable.

Michael- I'll message you to make certain I'm properly prepared.

Here are tonight's metrics. We got caught in the rain for a while but the group did a great job of smoothing things out so we all got back in one piece, the rain stopped and we still went for gelato

Good riding. Thanks for the instructions, tips and sprints. See y'all again soon.

It might have been brighter sans rain clouds.

Perfect evening to ride.  Bonus, the group managed to get all mechanical issues attended to before we left the parking lot at the start.  Super bonus, gelato after.  Mike has me truly believing in it's therapeutic properties.

The Monday morning version went fine.  Ideal weather, light car traffic.  Fifteen peeps, no flats, crashes, or mash ups to report.  I do hope some of the first timers enjoyed themselves enough to ride again in the future.

Great to hear it went well.  Even more bummed that I couldn't make it.

Hope to another time!

Light em up!!

Bring your lights tonight gets dark really soon.
