Where can I get some in the City at the same price they have them for on their web site?

Sooo.... what's this going to cost in bulk?
$170 a set or $85 or whatever?

I like the Spaceballs "Going to Plaid" pattern. I might also have a USA flag on one or just a wheel that says "FUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!"

If you see any around Chicago, it's likely because a bunch of folks organized via the Critical Mass listserv got together and did a bulk purchase 2-3 years ago.

Ludicrous Speed GO!

I would be down for buying six myself [three for each tire]
You are welcome to try mine; I've found I can't use them on all bikes due to spoke lacing patterns. The euphoria and compliments from passersby tend to overcome the extra weight :-D

omfg, if 8 of us had these, one on each wheel, we could ride in a CM and make the GREATEST CHAINLINK AD EVER!!

T - H -E - C - H - A - I - N - L - I - N - K - . - O - R - G

maybe even put whatever avatar win's the design contest in the front and back too :)
That would be awesome - we need to do a fundraiser at our next bar night...
I'm second Root's idea!!!!
Count me as part of the 8!
bulk order boys and girls!
those are awesome.
which , Hokey or Spokelit?
this is getting worse and worse...
Actually, Hokey Spokes do have a message programming feature - the message is displayed as part of the cycle of repeating patterns. I've used it for Critical Mass and the Chase The Moon ride. Some other lights that kick ass are from Monkeylectric: http://www.monkeylectric.com/
Definitely worth the dough if one could spell out, for instance, "FUCKING BIKE CLUB"! Super sweet. I think I just fell in nub w/ those.
Imagine the Fiasco we'd cause then.... ::insert Gal-ee-ma-shock-dee-day heart tearing::
