First Bicycle Overnight!

I am being kicked out of my house on Friday to make room for a girl's night in.  I'm thinking this is a great opportunity to grab my sleeping bag, tent, overpack a day bag and go.  I'd be leaving from work in Bellwood around 4, but can probably get my boss to be OK with leaving at 2.  I'm thinking Channahon State Park.  Has anyone camped there before?  Also, I'm familiar with my route as far as the intersection of 171 and 83 on the Centennial Trail, but haven't gone further than that.  Any tips for, or problems with the rest of the route?

Yep. I have a few friends in that area who would be amused enough by my biking 40 miles to supply a couch. Three year old information says that Channahon State Park doesn't usually fill up, and Will County's McKinley Woods could be a back up. Hopefully, that hasn't changed.
