The Chainlink

Bike was stolen from 837 Wolfram Apartment.  It is pretty unique and a bright orange color. It was locked to a staircase but they broke the wooden staircase poles to take the bike.

Am considering checking out the swap o rama on Thursday to check for the back.

Bike: It has 20" inch tires. It is folding and made by the company downtube. It is bright orange.

BIKE WAS FOUND! Was found over at the swap o rama on ashland. Lock was still on it! I had the key so proof enough that was my bike. No scene or cops involved. Thanks to Emily Rose who actually alerted me by phone!

congrats- what brazen thieves to leave the lock on it while trying to sell it.

that is excellent that you got it back.

Congratulations! And nice job Emily Rose.

I'm on the road with an iPod touch that I suck at but if I understand correctly Emily printed a few pages of the cane and took them with?
Cane was supposed to be c s b r :(

Glad you got it back so what did they say when you showed up?

Talked to a nearby vender the actually seller wasnt near his stand.  I'm not really sure who the seller was. I showed the guy i had the keys to the lock so he took me to find the seller, but didnt really find the guy.  Maybe he ducked out after seeing a few people observing his stand.  Anyway had no problems taking my bike away from there. He's near the back and has a couple probably stolen bikes for sale.

Sellers typically roll the bikes around and sell them to the first vendor who will bite, and have no reason to stay at the swap once rid of their booty; in your case the bike was probably fenced on Tuesday and came back with the vendor who bought it on Thursday.

Any chance we could get a few of the blanks filled in so we can accurately update the registry listing? Please?

Emily saw the photo and phoned me. I told her a few more identifying features. Never really found the seller just the neighboring seller which I explained the situation. Bike was found near the back.

OK, let's try this--

can you please look at the yellow pane in this listing and confirm that it's accurate as written?

Thx.
