Hey Chainlinkers! If anyone has a little downtime this weekend, we are looking for a few more volunteers to help park some bikes at Blues Fest in Grant Park. It's a fun way to spend a few hours, and a great way to make new bike friends.
The city hired Active Trans to put on the Sierra Mist Natural Bike Valet for this event, Friday- Sunday. We'll be out there hanging out and watching bikes so that fest-goers don't have to stress about where to leave their rides while they are enjoying the music. And while we're at it, by providing this service, we are also fundraising for better biking, walking and transit in the region.
From where we're stationed under our tent, you'll be able to hear the main stage and we'll order a meal for each volunteer who does a four-hour shift.
