The Chainlink

FS: 2008 Cannondale Touring 1, last year with USA made frame, size Large (56cm) >

I bought this bike new, with grand plans to tour with it, but I realize multi-day tours are not in the cards for me, and I'm trying to downsize my collection. About 1,000 miles on this bike, give or take. I've taken it on some long day rides to the north, south, and west, but never farther than Two Brothers Tap House in Warrenville or Three Floyds in Munster. Excellent condition.

Cannondale size Large is about 56cm. Components are bone-stock, nice Ultegra/105 mix, set up well for all but the hilliest touring. I'll throw in a pair of excellent Shimano PD-A530 touring platform/SPD pedals if you want. The bike is also equipped with nice black Planet Bike fenders. The astute observer will also notice an Ortlieb handlebar bag mounting bracket on the bars, that does not come with the bike.

$1000. Bike is located near Lake and Racine.

Price dropped to $950.

This bike is sold, thanks Chainlink!

This bike is mine, thanks Will!

Enjoy it, Adam! The bike demands to be ridden multi-day, you'd better do it!

I know, I had better.  I think there's a starved rock trip in my future.  On Saturday, I'm going to set out on this ride:  http://www.thechainlink.org/events/south-burb-brewpub-ride-yes-it-g...

So at the very least, I'll have it as far as you did!

Well, one of my first rides on that bike was the ~95 mile Chicago perimeter ride with John Greenfield. So keep trying! But yeah, I did ride that bike to Three Floyds a couple of times, and a couple of times out to Two Brothers, so you're on the right track. Enjoy!

Was searching for information about my bike, and found my bike!  Haven't chain linked for a while, but here's an updated bike photo.
