We have a few threads here and there with introductions, but nothing organized. For this thread, post your picture, pics of your bikes, and a small blurb about yourself (favorite foods, commuting routes, etc).

I don't ride my Xtracycle all that often, but, dang, it is handy at times.  It's great for shopping trips, and I've even hauled bags of mulch home from Menards with it.

Hello everyone my name is Sam i'm pretty new to this site. I live by Midway Airport. I started college this past fall. I'm pretty new to this site. I just started using it a few weeks ago.

I recently got into road bikes. I went out and got a 1987 Lotus Excelle last weekend. I don't have any pictures yet but it looks almost exactly like this one.

And I ride around this bike as well. I've had this for about two years. 2007 Mongoose Rogue.

Closing out an office, which had a tonne of customer contracts and miscellaneous paperwork going back through however many mergers and downsizings have occured since the nineties

Hi there.  I'm Debra.  This is me, contemplating whether I'm a woman or a muppet.

I've lived in Chicago my whole life and on the north side for the past 20 years.  I've always had a bike and ridden for transportation.  But, starting last year, really got into bikes.  I bought my first road bike.  This is it.

I've ridden it over 2000 miles.  I love it.

I also have an 80's Motobecane that I use to commute and knock around town.

Finally, I've got a Giant Rincon that I keep around for all kinds of weather and crusing around.

For reasons that I can't quite understand, I've been swooning over pictures of BMX bikes with 29 inch wheels.

I like nice people, eating all the variety of foods that our great city has to offer, and riding bikes.

Hi Debra! Hi Sam! ;-) Welcome! :-)

Hello,

This is me...

I have been on Chainlink for a while,But I don't think I posted a intro yet.

So here it goes, I am a married 40 yr old dad of two great boys ages 9 and 11.

I love to build and ride old "vintage" and "RatRod" bikes.

I have just been Profiled.....

Should cover everything.

Have fun and be safe out there.

Thanks Skip

Welcome skip!!!!

Maybe it's time for me to post up here.  I am Steve and I work in the legal side of the bike industry.  As a founding member of the Judson Ride, I have been riding seriously for over 20 years.   I love all two-wheeled things and have a bunch of rides, mostly for the road, like the Super Six in the pic below.  One of my many hobbies is building acoustic and archtop guitars.  I am married with two grown sons, only one of which took to bikes.  I enjoy this site a lot and the diversity of cycling issues discussed, especially regarding commuting.  Cheers.
