Bike path to Indiana Dunes

I don't know if it will happen or not, but they are talking about creating a bike path from Chicago to the Indiana Dunes:

I'm planning on building a trailer over the winter for just this reason. I've already found lots of great ideas on the interwebs.

Really looking forward to going bike camping for the 1st time next year.

Northwest Indiana already has plenty of bike paths that take you to the Dunes, though not in the most direct route.
