Interesting video, h'.  Maybe it's my monitor adjustment, but did the video seem, uh, a little dim to you?  Or was this a gathering of ninja-clad black bicycles on a black lava hill on a moonless night?

It was indeed pitch black that night. Lower down the hill there were street lamps.

The event starts with a meeting down in the city, a group journey up the hill via street car, a group elevator ride up to zoo level, and then a group trek up various paths to the top of the hill (it's an outlook point in the daytime.) The trek up the hill was particularly interesting  since you couldn't see anything at all the whole way.

There are three different roads that they like to bomb down. One crosses a highway after probably the steepest descent. My impression was that there are typically 3 to 5 bombings in a night.
