anyone purchased one of these(1)? or these(2)?

I need to get a 15t cog (if you have one let me know)  and I want to switch it out myself but I have no tools. so i figured i would just order this simple tool kit and a cog....

should i get #1 or #2

any better ideas?

I would rate both those kits as junk which, in the long run, you would end up replacing every tool in with a decent one as you progress.

Invest in a good lock ring tool and chain whip and you will be miles ahead.

I carry a Park Tool MTB-3 rescue tool in my "crash kit" along with spare tube, levers, and patch kit. Anything more complicated than that is a trip to the bike shop.

I have begun to get into doing my own work at home. At first I thought bike shops were just trying to upsell me, but after using enough tools, GET PARK TOOLS. Their parts are often replaceable, and in my experience, other tools just aren't made as well.

I have what I believe is an 18t Shimano freewheel cog. Was put on a bike, used for about a week, and taken off. In really nice shape. Not 15t, but if you want it, it'd be cheap.
