The Chainlink

Copied from my CL ad...I assume that's allowed.

Beautiful bronze-green 1969 Raleigh Ladies' Sport, 21" frame.
Original Brooks B72 'sprung' leather saddle in good condition.
New-ish cream white Schwalbe Delta Cruiser tires, new tubes of course.

Koolstop Continental brake pads, for a hope of stopping in wet conditions.

New brake and shifter cables, new shifter grommet.

Original Pletscher double-kickstand.

There are a lot of these around but this one is extra-nice. I'd give it an 8.5/10 on cosmetics because there are some never-ridden ones around, and I'm hyper-critical.  The paint is gorgeous, but could use a little touchup in some spots, notably the white on the rear fender.  Also, one pedal is replaced and doesn't match.

But I'd give it a 10+ on function due to the new tires, brake pads, cables, the nice original Brooks (Proofide'd), the overhauled front hub, headset and bottom bracket.  The rear hub I have not tackled as it spins and shifts just fine...and I can just envision pawls and springs a'flying if I open it.  There are a few more things you could do to the bike, which we can talk about if you come see it.

I'll be out riding Sunday but there is time this week I could show the bike.  We like it a lot but everyone in the family has at least one bike and we have to make some room.

Looking for $225 and a good home for the bike.  i've sold two of our other extras lately to very happy new owners, both of whom I told about the chainlink.
